ROC - Wegmans 4 Lyfe

I grew up with Wegmans and they've have a huge impact on my life with putting me through middle and high school as well as giving me my first job out of college. While it may be only a summer gig, it still counts. For the summer I spend every day at Wegmans, and I know I'm at headquarters so technically I'm not AT Wegmans but we make a lot of trips to several of the stores multiple times a week and I spend my days looking at Wegmans employees and Wegmans products. That being said, you would think that on my days off I would take the nice two day break from Wegmans and spend my time elsewhere. Wrong.

Tonight my friend Sophia (hey Sofa! Look! Told you you'd be in my blog!) wanted to go to a movie and we figured we'd grab a bite to eat first. Dinner and a movie, aren't we just the cutest couple ever. Who needs men when I have Mercy friends. Usually around this theater we hit up Five Guys or Collies but this time around I made a proposition. Let's go to Wegmans.

LOCATION: 3195 MONROE AVE, ROCHESTER, NY, 14618

I know. I'm a little ridiculous. But the Wegmans in Pittsford has a nice little restaurant attached to it called the Burger Bar. Being one of the few Wegmans we frequent often to buy products for shoots, I pass by the Burger bar at least a 2 or 3 times a week yet have never gone to eat. So I figured, we wanted dinner, this place is on my list, let's go. And that we did.

I decided on the Lobster roll and upgraded my side to zucchini fries. Sophia got some sort of Turkey Burger and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The lobster tasted so fresh and the pieces was a pretty good sized portion. Neither of us have had zucchini fries before so it was a fun choice for me and we both ended up liking them, a lot. They're cut super thin and covered in a light batter with some sort of creamy aoli. This was a pretty good meal for a reasonable price and we were both stuffed in the end. Props to you Wegmans. You're awesome don't ever change.
