Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Emily is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology. She received her BFA in Professional Photographic Illustration with a focus on Advertising Photography along with a double minor in Entrepreneurship and Psychology in 2015.

She completed her graduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018 where she pursued an MDes degree in Graphic Design. 

Emily has relocated to Cortland, NY and spent some time at the Cortland Standard newspaper working as the in house graphic designer and marketing manager. In 2023, she decided to return to higher education and is currently the Digital Content and Design Specialist for the Student Experience Division Communications team at Syracuse University. She enjoys connecting with students and keeping updated on what’s going on in culture.

She has a passion for food and travel, excited to spend her time on both interests whether it be baking or eating, at home or around the world. She has also picked up learning how to crochet and some goods can be found locally in Rochester, NY for sale at ShopOne.
