In 2017 I had the opportunity to go to Basel, Switzerland with my graduate cohort of graphic design students for three weeks of courses at the Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW. Meeting students from around the world and collaborating and exploring new places together created a network of support and helped bolster my confidence going into my second year of grad school at UIC.
